What Is Epoxy Flooring?
Epoxy flooring is a type of coating that’s applied directly over concrete. It’s made of two parts, a resin and a hardener, that mix together and form a strong, plastic-like surface that bonds tightly to the floor underneath.
The end result is a floor that’s:
- Very strong and holds up well against impacts, stains, and chemicals
- Easy to clean and take care of
- Smooth and seamless, so there are no grout lines for dirt or bacteria to collect in
- Available in many colors, styles, and finishes
Epoxy is not the same as regular floor paint or a basic sealer. It’s applied thicker, sticks more firmly to the concrete, and lasts much longer when it’s done properly.
